Senior Electrical Engineer, PE (Education, Healthcare Design)

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, either licensed (PE) or on the PE track, to join our growing team in Austin. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead the design of electrical systems for a variety of projects including K-12 schools, universities, hospitals, and civic buildings.
  • Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systems with a focus on safety, efficiency, and aesthetics.
  • Conduct site visits and coordinate with utility providers to ensure seamless integration of new and renovated systems.
  • Oversee and prepare construction documents, and support construction administration through on-site reviews.
  • Address complex technical challenges with innovative, practical solutions in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure code compliance and uphold quality standards through detailed analysis and design reviews.
  • Mentor junior engineers, promoting a culture of learning and professional growth.
  • Work closely with architects, interior designers, and other engineering disciplines across Texas.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or actively pursuing licensure.
  • Proficient in Revit and other industry-standard design tools.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical building systems design.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
