Commissioning Team Lead

What You’ll Do
- Oversee commissioning services from early design through to final project closeout across various facility types including educational and healthcare.
- Support owners in defining project requirements and ensuring alignment throughout the design and construction phases.
- Lead design document reviews, develop project-specific commissioning plans and specifications.
- Conduct submittal reviews and perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Facilitate and lead commissioning meetings and on-site coordination.
- Develop and execute functional testing protocols, including seasonal performance tests.
- Maintain and manage issue logs, review TAB reports, and verify system functionality.
- Prepare systems manuals and comprehensive final commissioning reports.
- Contribute to marketing and business development efforts, representing the team externally when needed.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Flexibility to support occasional after-hours or weekend testing as needed.
- Deep understanding of building systems and ability to evaluate all components for performance and compliance.
- Experience with commissioning software such as CxAlloy or Facility Grid.
- EIT, PE, or commissioning certification (NEBB, ACG, or AABC) required.
- Background in controls or TAB is a plus.
- HVAC design experience and LEED AP credential are preferred.
