Training Supervisor

- Location: Multiple locations within Norfolk, VA area
- Salary: $77K-$95K
As a Training Supervisor, you will be responsible for actively engaging with and demonstrating care, respect, and passion for restaurant crew, managers, and guests. This role involves partnering with Training Assistants, Supervisors, and General Managers to build a high-performing team culture. The Training Supervisor plays a pivotal role in the deployment of training initiatives and ensuring that all training standards are met.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Training and Development:
- Develop Training Assistants and oversee their performance.
- Hold weekly communication sessions and conduct evaluations of Training Assistants.
- Conduct "Leading Great Shifts" sessions and manage various training programs including Equipment Calibration, food cost management, and shift manager training.
Standards and Compliance:
- Ensure training standards for safety, respect, and inclusivity are met, utilizing performance reports.
- Maintain compliance with workplace violence training standards and ensure all required crew room materials are posted and in good condition.
Financial and Operational Management:
- Create and manage budgets for People Week activities and Digital Block Parties.
- Schedule and conduct Shift Verification visits for promotions and track management training completion.
Community and Marketing:
- Implement and oversee regional marketing initiatives and promotions in alignment with broader campaigns.
Work Environment:
- Majority of time spent in restaurant settings, with orientations conducted in Training Centers or Main Office.
- Travel required between locations.
KPIs:
- Evaluate performance based on turnover rates, operational efficiency metrics (KVS, OEPE, R2P), and compliance with training standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Self-motivated with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Extensive knowledge of all operational stations and functions.
- Background check, drug screening, and yearly MVA driving record checks may be required.
