Senior Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role involves analyzing existing processes to develop, implement, and monitor measures that improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety. The successful candidate will become a technical expert in plant engineering technologies and support various cross-departmental projects.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Analyze and develop measures to enhance manufacturing processes in collaboration with R&D, manufacturing, lean, maintenance, quality, and SHE departments.
  • Define new processes and optimization activities to support the implementation of business strategies related to engineering, reliability, and standardization of operations.
  • Support troubleshooting and problem-solving initiatives to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Participate in project teams for investments and provide process perspective support.
  • Resolve customer incidents (internal and external), provide manufacturing and QOS support.
  • Lead efforts to clarify manufacturing instructions to ensure repeatable operations.
  • Set up manufacturing processes with input from R&D, reliability, production, etc.
  • Provide process troubleshooting and optimization (DOE).
  • Perform engineering studies, such as design of experiments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. A Master's degree is an asset.
  • Advanced proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials science, and thermodynamics.
  • Project management and Six Sigma experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in manufacturing engineering, process optimization, and problem-solving.
  • Managerial experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting and/or moving of more than 55 pounds.
