QSR General Manager

Location: Sussex County, DE (Rehoboth Beach)
Salary: $60-$70K plus bonus

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of a fast-paced fast-food restaurant. This role is crucial for ensuring exceptional customer experience while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. The General Manager will lead a diverse team, drive business goals, and manage the restaurant's financial performance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management:
    • Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
    • Manage equipment maintenance and compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Handle shift scheduling to meet business needs and adhere to metrics.
  2. Financial Management:
    • Develop strategies to increase sales and profitability.
    • Manage expenses and analyze financial data to enhance performance.
    • Set and strive to exceed financial targets.
  3. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.
    • Foster a positive work environment and conduct performance evaluations.
    • Ensure staff complete necessary training and adhere to company standards.
  4. Customer Service:
    • Guarantee high-quality, friendly, and efficient customer service.
    • Resolve complaints and maintain customer satisfaction.
  5. Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
    • Oversee inventory processes to minimize waste and reduce costs.
    • Manage stock levels and ensure compliance with inventory control processes.
  6. Compliance and Standards:
    • Ensure adherence to all brand standards and local laws.
    • Stay updated on policy changes affecting operations.
  7. Marketing and Community Engagement:
    • Implement marketing initiatives to boost brand visibility and customer traffic.
    • Engage with local businesses and community organizations.
  8. Technology:
    • Utilize company technology for team management and operational efficiency.
    • Train in troubleshooting restaurant technology.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • ServSafe certification and completion of Leading Great Restaurants class.
  • Proven leadership experience in the food service or hospitality industry, preferably with a background in fast-food operations.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and profitability enhancement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
