A nationally recognized plaintiff litigation firm is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to join its growing team. The firm represents clients in personal injury and property damage matters and is committed to securing exceptional outcomes through client-focused advocacy and trial excellence.
Position Summary
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering outstanding client service and achieving favorable case results. The successful candidate will:
- Meet with clients to discuss their cases and provide strategic legal guidance.
- Build trust and confidence through professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.
- Regularly update clients on case developments.
- Communicate with insurance carriers regarding claims, demands, negotiations, and settlement offers.
- Evaluate claims and develop effective litigation strategies.
- Prepare cases for trial and serve as trial counsel when necessary.
- Work independently while collaborating with colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
Requirements & Skills
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Illinois Bar and in good standing.
- Extensive litigation experience.
- First-chair jury trial experience essential
- Experience evaluating claims and assessing case value.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish capabilities are a plus.
