We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney licensed in Georgia to join our Atlanta practice. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of insurance defense experience and the ability to manage cases independently from inception through resolution.
Responsibilities include:
- Defending insurers and insureds in civil litigation matters (general liability, premises, auto, trucking, construction defect, etc.)
- Managing a full caseload from investigation through trial or settlement
- Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
- Taking and defending depositions
- Appearing in court, mediations, and hearings
- Communicating with clients, claims professionals, and opposing counsel
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active Georgia bar license
- Minimum 5 years of insurance defense experience
- Strong writing, research, and case‑management skills
- Trial experience a plus
