Embark on an amazing journey with our client as an Oncology Nurse in a dynamic healthcare setting. This thirteen (13) week travel position offers a chance to work in a fast-paced environment and requires a dedicated professional ready to make a significant impact on patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to work in a 12 bed unit.
  • Work night shift from 7:00PM - 7:00AM
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients in a hospital setting.
  • Monitor patient conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice.
  • Administer medications, provide treatments, and observe reactions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to devise individualized care plans for patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital policies and guidelines.
  • Participate in rotational weekends and on-call duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must reside fifty (50) miles from work location.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an oncology unit.
  • Proficiency in medical-surgical skills.
  • Experience with EMR, specifically Meditech.
  • Must have Med-Surgical skills; candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
  • Must be able to perform typical procedures performed on oncology units, including medical, surgical, and chemotherapy treatments.
  • Required certifications for the role.
  • Ability to work well within a team and adapt to dynamic environments.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Advanced Medical Surgical skills.
