Embark on an amazing journey with our client as an ICU Nurse in a dynamic healthcare setting. This thirteen (13) week travel position offers a chance to work in a fast-paced environment and requires a dedicated professional ready to make a significant impact on patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Must reside fifty (50) miles from work location.
• Must be able to work in a 28-bed unit.
• Must choose to work either on:
  • Day Shift (6:45AM-07:15PM), or
  • Night Shift (6:45PM – 7:15AM)
• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
• Float between Medical ICU, Medical Stepdown ICU, and Cardiac Stepdown ICU as needed.
• Must be able to wear navy blue scrubs.
• Must be able to use EMR: Cerner (COMPASS) software.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in cardiovascular ICU.
• Must have a Nursys license/certificate verification.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in Immediate open heart recovery of CABG/valve surgeries.
• CRRT (Prismaflex).
• VA/VV ECMO.
• IABP (Maquet).
• Impella.
• HM3.
• Lumbar Drain/EVDs..
