Charlotte’s best new restaurant is seeking an Executive Chef

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, strong leadership skills, and a creative approach to food.

Duties:

 - Plan and create menus that are innovative and appealing to customers - Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared to high standards

- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Collaborate with other departments, such as catering or dietary, to meet specific needs or dietary restrictions

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role

- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques - Excellent leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

- Knowledge of kitchen management principles and best practices

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and other departments

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
