Construction Superintendent

Our client, a leading firm in the construction sector, is in search of a seasoned Superintendent to manage a series of significant projects within the greater Austin area. This pivotal role is an opportunity to contribute to a robust portfolio of projects valued between $50-300 million.
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Uphold the highest standards of safety, ensuring comprehensive planning and diligent execution on all projects.
- Lead project strategy, including the establishment of construction methodologies and site planning.
- Direct the creation and regular updates of project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines.
- Liaise with project teams to ensure equipment and subcontractor requirements are met in a timely fashion.
- Proactively address and resolve project challenges, maintaining adherence to the project timeline.
- Oversee a robust Quality Control Program, ensuring all project deliverables meet the highest standards.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate and in compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain a well-organized and safe project site, overseeing the successful completion and close-out of projects.
- Consistent presence at the worksite, with additional responsibilities as required.
Required Experience & Skills:
- A proven track record with at least 5 years in a Superintendent role, managing projects exceeding $30 million in value.
- Demonstrated ability to lead project strategies and maintain safety protocols.
- Skilled in project scheduling and site management.
- Competent in quality assurance, with a keen eye for detail and compliance.
- Strong leadership skills, with a history of developing talent and managing a high-performing team.
- Effective communication skills, capable of conducting impactful discussions regarding team performance and development.
