Prominent Boston based biotechnology company is seeking a Ph.D. level Immunotherapy Scientist. The ideal candidate is someone who works well in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about contributing to the development of groundbreaking therapies for solid tumors.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan and execute preclinical development work for immunotherapy programs, including IHC, antibody selection, vector production, T cell transduction and cultivation, and IND-enabling in vitro and in vivo work.
- Scale up processes and run assays such as flow cytometry, potency tests, PCR, and other functional assays.
- Collaborate with scientific partners on preclinical development and T cell manufacturing.
- Develop experimental plans and contribute to scientific publications, regulatory documents, tech transfer documents, presentations, and posters.
- Deliver detailed reports on experimental outcomes.
- Work as part of a collaborative science team, continuously sharing work and data company wide.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Immunology, Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related fields with quality publications.
- 4-7 years of laboratory experience in immuno-cellular therapy in an academic setting, or 1-5 years in an industry setting.
- Strong experience with flow cytometry.
- Experience with in vivo work.
- Proficiency in ELISAs, western blotting, PCR, IHC, or other assays.
- Lentiviral vector production and molecular cloning experience is a plus.
- Team player with the ability to also work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and good work ethic.
