We are working with a premier company in the commercial construction management sector, renowned for our expertise in crafting exceptional interior construction projects for a variety of spaces including hospitality, retail, and corporate offices. We’re on the lookout for a skilled Project Manager to steer our projects to success, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality, stay within budget, and are completed punctually.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring seamless planning and execution.
- Collaborate with Estimators to oversee financial aspects, including budgeting and expense tracking, to maximize resource efficiency.
- Liaise with a network of professionals including architects, engineers, and subcontractors to guarantee project specifications are fulfilled.
- Craft and manage detailed project timelines, actively monitoring progress to preempt and resolve any potential setbacks.
- Perform regular on-site evaluations to uphold safety measures, quality control, and compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and all project participants, providing updates and addressing any emerging concerns.
- Seek out and implement strategies for enhancing operational processes and achieving financial prudence.
- Offer mentorship to less experienced team members, nurturing a team-oriented and progressive workplace.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within the commercial construction sector, with a focus on interior fitouts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse range of construction projects from start to finish.
- In-depth knowledge of construction practices, codes, and regulations.
- Exceptional organizational prowess, alongside strong communication and leadership capabilities.
- Proficient with industry-standard project management tools, scheduling software, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
