Day-to-day of the role:

  • Design and document healthcare architecture projects from early phases through construction.
  • Translate client needs into clear design solutions and construction documents.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Lead or support design development, detailing, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with in-house architects and engineers throughout the design process.
  • Guide projects through fast-paced schedules and evolving priorities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience, with a strong focus on healthcare design or planning.
  • Architectural license in the State of Texas.
  • Deep understanding of the architectural design process and documentation phases.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with professionalism and precision.
  • Solid knowledge of materials and systems relevant to healthcare environments.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with Newforma, SketchUp, and Office 365 is a plus.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative approach with a high level of independence and initiative.
