Freight Forwarding Sales Executive with a Growing Company

We are looking for a motivated individual who has a good grasp of the logistics business and is eager to develop within our company. This position involves outbound cold calling, business development, and the opportunity to work on both new prospects and some warm leads from the owner. It’s a great fit for someone starting out and looking to both grow within the company and contribute to its expansion.

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary of $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience.
  • Commission-based structure offering 10% of profit from sales, with uncapped earning potential.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain client relationships while actively seeking new business opportunities.
  • Utilize your logistics knowledge to offer tailored freight forwarding solutions.
  • Identify potential customers through networking, cold calling, and online research.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of freight forwarding services.
  • Negotiate pricing and service terms to secure profitable contracts with clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in freight forwarding.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Existing book of business within the freight forwarding industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
