We are seeking a Dedicated Capacity Sales Executive with a strong background in Domestic Freight & Logistics to join our best-in-class team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the logistics industry, specifically in dedicated logistics, and will demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills. This remote role requires a self-motivated individual who excels at multitasking and managing resources efficiently to meet and exceed sales targets.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain client relationships to ensure a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct cold calls to gather information about potential clients’ transport requirements and identify decision-makers.
- Self-generate meetings with potential new customers, either virtually via Teams or in person.
- Track and record metrics throughout the sales process to inform strategies and improve outcomes.
- Meet and exceed financial goals by effectively closing sales and expanding the customer base.
- Stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape to enhance sales approaches and techniques.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience within logistics dedicated capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of business experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to analyze financial data to inform decision-making.
